CGPDTM Patent Examiner Answer Key has been released for the Mains Exam. This is the provisional answer key and objections against the same can be made online by 13th February 2024. The selection process for the posts of Examiner of Patents and Designs will consist of three phases as follows:
The final merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared by giving 80% weightage to the cumulative marks obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II of the mains examination and 20% weightage to the marks obtained in the interview.
To be eligible for the post of CGPDTM Patent Examiner candidates must fulfil the requirements specified by the authorities in terms of qualifications, experience, age, etc. Check the CGPDTM Patent Examiner Eligibility Criteria below.
The candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be over 35 years of age as on the last date of submission of the online application. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as follows:

The selected candidates for the posts of Examiner of Patents and Designs under CGPDTM will be appointed in Level 10 in Pay Matrix (₹ 56,100 – 1,77,500) plus applicable allowances, as admissible, in the Government of India. They will also be entitled to other benefits such as leave, medical facilities, gratuity, contributory provident fund, group insurance etc. as per rules.
