Candidates with basic eligibility criteria of the 10th class are eligible to appear for the examination. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 2024 recruitment exam in July-August 2024.  

• The age eligibility criteria for MTS and Havaldar in CBN is 18 to 25 years, while for Havaldar in CBIC and some MTS posts, it is 18 to 27 years.
• The minimum educational requirement is the completion of the Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

SSC MTS Posts 2024

The Staff Selection Commission administers the SSC MTS exam to fill non-gazetted, non-ministerial General Central Service Group ‘C' positions in various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices throughout the country. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to conduct the SSC MTS 2024 Exam (Multitasking Staff) to hire candidates for different positions such as:

SSC MTS Vacancy 2024

SSC MTS Vacancy 2024 will be out soon. The SSC's Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) test, which selects candidates for a variety of non-technical positions in government agencies, is one of the most well-known exams it administers. SSC MTS Apply Online 2024

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam online. Candidates can fill in the application form for the SSC MTS by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the SSC Official Website.

Step 2: After clicking on the link you will be directed to the homepage and then click on the “Apply” button on the right side of the page.

Step 3: After clicking on the Apply Button, you will have to register yourself, and then you will have to save your registration number and password.

Step 4: You will be further directed to fill in the form with all your details including qualifications and contact details.

Step 6: After you have made the payment, print the e-receipt and save it for later use.

SSC MTS Application Fee 2024

After the candidates have successfully filled in the application form for SSC MTS 2024, they will have to make the payment for the SSC MTS Application Form 2024. The payment will be made online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, etc., or by offline mode.

• The candidates will pay Rs.100/- for the SSC MTS Application Form 2024.
• The payment can be done online via BHIM UPI, New Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Cards. 
• The payment can also be made offline through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. 
• Women, and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ESM or eligible for other reservations and are exempted to pay SSC MTS Application Fees 2024.
• Applications received without the fee payment will not be considered for further processing.  

SSC MTS Selection Process

In order to be recruited under SSC MTS, the candidates will have to meet the minimum eligibility and will also have to qualify for the examination. The candidates will have to go through the SSC MTS Selection Process which consists of a Computer Based Test. Candidates who will be qualified in the CBT are eligible to attend the Document Verification.

The selection process for SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) typically consists of two stages:

• Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination)​
• Paper-II (Descriptive Paper)
• The final selection is made after considering candidates' performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, and they are allocated to different government departments and offices for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff.

SSC MTS Eligibility

The candidates will have to meet the minimum SSC MTS Eligibility set for the candidates in order to be eligible for the SSC MTS 2023.

• The candidates should be aged between 18-25 years for MTS in CBN (Department of Revenue).
• The candidates should be aged between 18-27 years for a few posts of MTS in CBIC (Department of Revenue).
• They must have passed the matriculation (Class 10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates appearing for the SSC MTS must be familiar with the SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam Pattern. This will help them get an idea of the marking scheme, type of questions, important topics, etc. An overview of the same is given below.

• The SSC MTS Syllabus comprises topics from Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning & Problem Solving, General Awareness, and General English.

The SSC MTS post falls under the Group C category of non-gazetted posts. The SSC MTS salary is Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. The SSC MTS salary comprises the basic pay along with other allowances. The pay scale of the SSC MTS post is Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900.
